A well qualified and experienced Head of Humanities is required to teach history and geography in Years 6-8. The successful candidate would work closely with the school's Director of Studies and would also have responsibility for, and oversight of, the teaching of humanities from Years 3 - 8. The newly appointed teacher must be familiar with the English National Curriculum. Candidates must have British qualifications. They are expected to hold a Bachelor’s degree and a recognised teaching qualification. Prior experience in an international school setting is not essential. The teacher's salary range is between £33,000 - £50,000 tax free depending on experience, further information about life in Kuwait and details of the generous remuneration package are here. Additional allowances for Heads of Department are also offered.
